The Midland High tennis team defeated Odessa Permian, 14-5, in District 2-6A action at the Midland High Tennis Center on Tuesday.
MHS was led by its girls as they did not drop a single match.
"It was a matter of taking care of business for the most part and I'm glad our ladies came to play as we struggled a bit on the boys’ side today,” MHS coach Tom Heiting said. “ I felt the best matches of the day were at the top of our singles lineups, and both Camden (Foreman) and Sarah (Stewart) came through in the end, so that was good.”
The Bulldogs travel to San Angelo on Saturday for their next district match.
